Hi,
I just want to know if it's possible to control an analog telephone connected to a VIC-2DID card with a CallManager.
Thanks in advance

Yes, with Callmanager you can use Location based CAC. Yes, you can control the dial plan with route patterns, route lists, route groups, partitions, calling search spaces, etc. You may want to take a look at the Callmanager SRND specific to the version you will be using below.
Callmanager 4.x SRND
Callmanager 5.x SRND
Hope this helps.

Francisco,
You can control the ports on the VIC-2DID using Callmanager. You can either use MGCP and assign a DN to the port using Callmanager or you can use H.323 and dial peers on the gateway in which the card resides. So, yes it is possible to use an analog phone plugged into a port on a VIC-2DID.
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

Hi Brandon,
Just one more question. I read that it is not possible to control this kind of ports using SCCP:

Just want to know if with CallManager will be able to do functions like call admision control, dial plan, and so on.
Thaks for your response.
Best regards,
Francisco
