Video Conference Requirement

One of our Client requires a Video Conference Solution with minimum number of Devices or minimum total cost.


 --  They have a Conference room (8 Chairs). They already have a 55' LED Display on this Conference Room with HDMI, VGA etc.
 --  They do not have a Microphone or Camera
 --  They have Cisco Switches and ASA Firewalls , also Public IPs
 --  They do not have a Cisco Call Manager or Any other Call Control or Conference Units etc.

 

FEATURE REQUIREMENTS :-

  1. Also anyone should be able to make Point to Point and Multipoint Video Conference to this Conference Room from any other Domain or any other Company either with the Public IP or  by dialing user@thiscompany.com
  2. It Should be able to make Video Conference with any other Company or third-party Video Conference systems like Polycom, Lync etc which are independent of this company.
  3. Anyone with an internet Connection from Home/RemoteLocation should be able to make a Video Conference to this Conference Room with out a VPN Connection from his PC or LAPTOP by clicking a URL or though WEBPAGE.
  4. The Solution should include HD Cameras and Microphones.

 

Please Let me know a Solution for this , including what all devices or units are required for this ?

Hi,

The simple solution for this is to use the public IP your client have and NAT it with their private IP which they would be using for VC.  As far as hardware is concerned, you could go for SX20 in CISCO. But I would suggest you to also have a MCU unit along with for multi point conferencing.
