We currently use the 7912 series IP phones and are looking for a way to mount them vertically. We have purchased a locking wall mount (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/phones/ps379/prod_installation_guide09186a00800a8689.html) that is supposed to work with all 7900 series phones. However, it using mounting pin holes to mount to a phone and these pins holes do not exist on the 7912 model phone. Please explain how this mount is supposed to be installed to the 7912 phone.

Hi Chad,
Just to add a note to Tom's good post, I am pretty sure that the 7912 uses a different Wall mount kit. Have a look at the different part numbers;
7905,7912
CP-LCKNGWALLMNT2=
7940,7960
CP-LCKNGWALLMOUNT=
You probably ended up with the Wall Mount Kit shown in the attached doc;

Hope this helps!
