Hi,

What is disconnect cause 0. ?

Enabled CDR logging for VoIP, and in many calls i get disconnect cause code '0', with no disconnect text.

Can some one give more details on what could be the actual reason. Cisco wesite says 'this is just a cosmetic change', then what is the cause?

According to the following link, cause code 0 is No Error. The link in your post above indicates that seeing a lot of these is simply a defect in your version of IOS that has no real impact.

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

I tried now 3 IOS versions, due to various issues.

Any suggestions on any IOS specific to solve this case.

Thank you for the post.

present IOS is

Software (C3845-IPVOICE-M), Version 12.3(14)T6, RELEASE

Router 3845, with 2 dual VIC and one 2 port e1 on NMHDV.

This is the debug isdn q931, and cdr output together.

I have noticed that the reverse call leg generates Disconnect cause code 0, WHEN I WITHDRAW THE DIAL IMMEDIATELY, before getting any response from the other side.
