We have a voicemail mail that is reached by callers through our auto attendant. Basically if is for after hours, when no one is available to take calls. We also receive voicemail to email from this box. We receive quite a fair number of voicemails, and would rather not dial in and have to delete them all the time. Is there a way to get the Voicemail box to auto-purge? I'm on the client side, and need a suggestion/method to give to our provider.
I understand there is an IMAP connection where if you delete from email, it deletes from the voicemail. I would rather avoid this, as they have already been setup to send to our exchange emails, and we tend to keep the messages in our emails for later reference.
Thanks

Hi Art,
You should be able to leverage mailbox quotas and message aging policies to accomplish this requirement;
Or if that doesn't work for you then maybe you could get this tool setup with Unity Connection to delete messages in bulk on that mailbox. From the great suite of Unity Tools (** using the "reset" feature);
Unity Connection Bulk User Delete
For resetting users you have the option of emptying the mailbox, resetting greetings, deleting voice names, resetting passwords, removing private lists and a number of other options you may choose. For installations where the user base “changes over” frequently such as schools this may be a nicer option. This option is also allowed for CoRes installations since it does not involve the removal of user objects from the Connection database.
