Hi all.
I am using cucm 8. I know the basic use of BAT and can add new phones, but i dont see a field specifying the type of phones to be added. Where in BAT i can define the type of phones to be added ?

I think its a bit complicated for me :-)
I download the bat.xlt file but couldnt see any field for device type. do i manually need to create my own csv ?

Jonn, also if you have any doubt, you can add a phone manually and export that phone with all details, so there you are going to have a csv like the one in my screenshot, after that you can add more phones and upload the file.

Bat.xlt does not have a field where you can specify the phone model. What you need to do is create multiple device specific BAT files per phone type. Then, when you import them into CUCM, you will specify a phone template. This phone template is where the phone model would be specified.
