Calling Party Transformation

We  have CUCM 12.5 and it is a 4 node cluster.

We are trying to create a Calling Party Transformation Pattern  as 3xxxxx, with the Calling Party Transformation Mask as the Main office number like +44 123 4567, so that when the  users dial out external numbers from their Extension (3xxxxx) the number would be displayed as the Main office number.

When i place a test call and do a "show call active voice compact" on the CUBE, i see the Main Number being displayed with and extra "+", for e.g.

Is there a way we could get rid of the extra +

What version of IOS are you using? There was a defect in a few versions that added an extra plus. You can remove it by creating a voice translation in the SBC. But it would be better if you upgraded to a version where this is fixed. I would recommend IOS 17.6.4, it’s quite popular.

The version is Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 17.06.03a

Also, for another location running on 16.09.04 the Main Number is displayed correctly for that office

That version is affected by the defect I mentioned. Please see this post for the details on the defect and how to correct it with a translation in the SBC.
