can not change MOH

hi experts!

i tried to change current Hold Music but it not working, i follow below steps:

Step 1: Go to Media Resources > MOH Audio File Management.

upload file ( wav format ) - but first it show as file in use than i uploaded again as show Translation Complete

Step 2: Go to Media Resource > Music on Hold Audio Source

Step 3: Click the add new button

Step 4: Enter the Media Stream Number, MOH Audio Source Name, select the MOH Audio source file (this should be the file we just uploaded), Click the save button

Step 5: Go to Device > Phone

Step 6: Scroll down to User Hold MOH Audio Source and Network Hold MOH Audio Source and set them to your newly created MOH source.

Step 7: Go to Call routing > Directory Number

Step 8: Scroll down to the Directory Number settings section and change the User Hold MOH Audio Source and Network Hold MOH Audio Source to our new MOH

 

but it not working

You have to be aware, that there is a more complex selection algorithm, which Moh-file source gets selected:

The easiest way to test it, is to set both phones with the same moh file.

It's not possible to say with the information you have given. There are tones of good information available for how to properly setup MOH and for how to troubleshoot it if there are problems. Advice you to look for these.

On the article, there are likely more to it than you are sharing, but go ahead and follow it even if you'd been told that it's not relevant.

Have you uploaded the file on all CUCM-nodes? The file will not get transferred to all CUCM-nodes automatically. You need to do it manually.

i uploaded only to publisher, how can i upload manually to all nodes ?

i have 1 publisher 3 subscribers

do you mean access to each sub GUI and try?

i will check

Yes, login to every Sub and do the same steps for uploading the new audio file

i uploaded the file to each node with same result not working.

but i see file after uploaded be in use, i mean i can`t select it or even deleted

Where can't you select the file? Can you make screenshots of the MoH-file config page and a device?

Looks good in this screenshots, but what exactly is not working now?
Do you don't here the new file playing?

i don`t hear what i select ( birds wav file ) i hear an other one

i do it for 2 ip phone ( same MOH ) but not working

Then you need to get the CUCM logs and check, why CUCM is still selecting the other file. Without that, it's hard to say where the error might be.
