You installed the server????
Anyway, if you don't see CUCM, then you DONT have CUCM on that server.
Yes, you need to install CUCM on another server, or VM.
Credentials are not tied, you do not manage CUCM credentials from CUC o viceversa.
Read the roles and groups chapters from the CUCM admin guide for your question.

You can perform password recovery from CLI, just search for it as this is often asked.

So, you're using the built-in admin user, you log into CUCM, and what you cannot do??
Also, what browser are you using???
It sounds to me like you might be using a browser which is not compatible and thus believe it's the admin page which does not allow you to anything, when it's really your selection of browser which does that.

Those are permission issues, are you using the built-in admin user???
If not, have you configured whatever other user you're using for CCMadmin access??

thanks for the reply, im new to call manager so to explain my situation, im seeing in all the guides, an cucm administration panel that i dont see as an option when i access cuc gui, and i looked it up and i saw it was under
ip address/ccmadmin/showHome.do
so i accessed that page under my user(not the cuc command prompt user) and got these errors. The user, which is not present in cuc aministration gui, is not the one i use for cuc administration and the cucm administration is the other one. Now am i doing something wrong or is there something i dont know? To answer your question i dont know how to configure the user i use for cuc and cucm administration for this panel and dont know how to access it, this is the one that i think i need to access from all these guides
basically
thank you
richard

Hi Richard,
Just one quick note, for CUC you would use;
https://x.x.x.x/cuadmin/home.do
Cheers!

thanks i know but how do i get to the cucm admin panel?

You'll get the possible options of products installed, click on the one you need, type in credentials for admin GUI. That's all there is to it.
If you want DRS, OS, reporting, etc. Choose from the drop down menu on the top right corner -> Go -> type credentials.
