CER and Non-Cisco Switches

Looking to add CER to a customer's environment.

They have HP switches and Juniper switches providing PoE to the phones.

What kind of issues will we run into in configuring CER to discover the phones in this environment?

Switch port tracking won’t work; you will be limited to subnet-based tracking. Some of the ecosystem vendors such as RedSky support other switch OEMs in their competitive offerings for CER.
