Unified Communications support of VMware Cloud Disaster Recovery

Hi,

I wanted to ask if anyone is using VMware Cloud Disaster Recovery for restoring the Cisco UCM components such as Call Managers, Expressways, Cisco Unity, Cisco CUAC etc.

I've searched cisco docs and cannot find any info. Still waiting for cisco tac response.

Maybe someone is already using this method and can share their feedback and compatibility.

I remember that with 12.5 version snapshots were not recommended not sure how it is with version 14.0 and the VCDR method.

Thank you.

One thing I would see is the following:
As per documentation on this (https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Cloud-Disaster-Recovery/index.html), it seems that the VM would get recovered on a VMware cloud on AWS infrastructure, and this would not be supported, as Cisco UC VMs are not supported on AWS.
Probably, the way how the VMs get replicated away from the host would also be a problem and maybe other topics.
So, I would say, the whole technique is not supported.
