Change PRI channels

Hello,

We have a VG200 and CUCM 7.1.3 system handling calls and want to change our services from 24 max calls to 12. If we want to change the PRI ports from the provider from 24 to 12 would the VG200 configuration need to look like this?

CURRENT:

controller T1 1/0

framing esf
linecode b8zs
pri-group timeslots 1-24 service mgcp

NEW:

controller T1 1/0
framing esf
linecode b8zs
pri-group timeslots 1-12 service mgcp

Yes,

you will need to remove mgcp first and shut the controller to change the timeslots though.

Note: Cisco CallManager does not support the configuration or use of a fractional PRI when you use it with MGCP. If fractional PRI is necessary you can use H.323 instead of MGCP.
