Hello All,
Any ideas if adding ~* to the agent last name could potentially cause issues within the PCCE environment? We have noticed that our WFM team is doing that to agents profiles but do not know if I should be concern. Down below is an example.

Hi Steve,
There are known issues with unsupported special characters with user if like the ones below
http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Desktop:_Agent_with_special_characters_in_ID_cannot_sign_in
http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Desktop:_Supervisor_cannot_view_agent_with_special_characters_in_ID
However, i did not find any such limitation for last name field.

thank for your the feedback Manish. Does this document also apply to UCCE or PCCE?

Hi Steve,
Although the link explicitly mentions UCCX but i believe it applies to UCCE as well. You may try posting your query under contact center to have some contact center experts give their opinion as well at the following link
