Cisco UC500

Hello:

I'm not a Cisco person, but I have a client with Cisco VoIP and they have a Cisco UC500. They are switching from a PRI to Fiber in the next four weeks. AT&T has given us a couple of test numbers they want added to the UC500 so we can test calling out and in. I've been successful in adding those numbers to call out but I cannot call in. I  get a disconnected message. My question is can someone tell me what commands I need to add to the UC500 to allow incoming calls to the test numbers?

Thanks,

Justin

Fiber is just a media and not a protocol or trunk type. I am assuming you are getting a SIP trunk from AT&T over the new fiber handoff.

When you say you tested outbound, how did you confirm it went over the SIP trunk rather your existing PRI as SIP trunk needs to be configured for it to be useful, plus dial plan changes are needed to route specific numbers via it.

As to inbound it all depends on your dial plan, do you require translations from dialed number to internal numbers, etc.

Since UC500 is based on Cisco CME can you first provide "show run" from the router?
