Cisco Unity Connection - Greeting format

My CUC users dont want to use their first names and last names on their mailboxes.  They simply want to use their extensions.  The problem is that when you are greeted by one of their mailboxes, for DN 3002, it greets you as "extension three thousand and two".   Is there a way to get CUC to say the individual numbers or greet someone like "extension three zero zero two"?

This becomes a bigger issue with longer DN's like 5551001 which CUC greets you as "extension five million five hundred and fifty one thousand and one"

I am want CUC to greet with the extension and not the actual number of the DN.

Thanks

No, there is no way to change that to my knowledge. Why are users not recording their own personal greetings and recorded names? The TTS that you are hearing is meant to be the greeting until user personalizes it.

I agree with Chris , I checked all possible settings on Unity Connection but there is no way to change it as per your requirement. At best you may contact your Cisco Account team and check the possibility of engaging Cisco for this feature request.

Thanks.  I asked this question because other vendor voicemail servers that I have worked with have this option and I was hoping Cisco did as well.

The reason that our users don't want or need personalized voicemail greetings are due to high volume turn-over and for privacy reasons.
