CME 10.5 and 3rd Party SIP Devices

Does Cisco Unifed Communications Manager Express 10.5 support third party SIP devices? 

I have been looking for something to clarify and I have not had any luck.

If yes, can you provide quick high-level overview of what needs to be done so it can be configured.

Yes, third party sip phones are supported. Here's an older example from 7.x, but still works.
