Hi All,
The brief introduction is the users are experiencing issues with remote users connecting to conference calls.
To replicate the issue, here are the steps:
User1 (Logged on Remotely from home)
User2 (Logged on Remotely from home)
User3(Logged on from inside Network)
Step1) User 1 calls user 2
Step2) User1 then press the (conference button) to call user 3
Step3) After connecting to user 3, user 1 hits the "Conference" button that's display on the screen.
Step4) User 2 gets dropped leaving only user 1 and 3 on the call.
It's reported that when user1 hits the "conference" button to connect all parties to the conference, a quick "transfer" display occurs.
Please note, If all 3 users are logged on from inside the Network, there is no issue. The issue only occurs when remote users are part of the conference call.
Any kind of help will be appreciated
Thanks in Advance.

Most probably it is a codec issue.
If you are using the embedded CUCM conference bridge, that supports only the G711 codec. Check in the Regions assigned to the Device Pools of the devices to see what codecs are negotiated.
If you are using a hardware conference bridge, check in the dpsfarm profile configuration and make sure the codecs negotiated through the Regions are supported.
Also, verify what media resources are allowed to be used by each device (User 1 in your case), though the configured Media Resource Group List on the Device/Device Pool.

Hello,
is user 3 assigned a CFB? Please check the device pool configuration or the MRGL configured on the phone.
