Hey all,
I am trying to find out if I can create a customized role that just allows a user to "Import Users" and reset VM passwords. The "Helpdesk Administrator" Role allows for password reset but not much else. Is there anyway to assign individual tasks?

Hi Tino,
Not sure I completely understand what you mean but you can create new role from the callmanager admin
User Managemenent ----> Role ---> Create New
I haven't seen any 'Helpdesk administrator' role there so I guess this is a customized one ?
In any case you can create a new role and assign resources with specific priviledges (read or write)

I perhaps didnt give the best explanation of what I am after.
There are a group of support engineers I want to give access to the CUCM and give them the permissions to change the phone number, display names and other basic features. I am unfamiliar with creating the specific roles, groups and users etc and the order in which to do so.
There may already be a Role whic does exactly this but my experience of Roles etc is very minimal so I am unsure how to do this.
Any advise appreciated.
