We had already before with 9.1(2) issues with Ad Hoc Conferencing Calls (when Android Jabber Phones where involved) but now at 10.5(2) it seems to be completely broken at our BE6000. In addition to the upgrade we integrated Expressway so our Mobile Devices are now no longer on Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
You can call the first attendee, then create the conference and call the other attendee, for a moment you see in Display of the phone "Conference Call" and it's gone after a second and you can resume your call to the first attendee and the second one dropped.
I've not really an idea where to start looking at this issue as normal calls are working fine, any hint would be very useful for me.

Hello,
Not sure if this the problem, but take a look at the bug below. Fix is to increase max number of call to 3 or greater.

Hello,
Finally the issue seems to be solved and it was a combination of two problems so it was tricky to find :)
One issue was the bug with iPhone where you need max number of calls set to 3.
The second issue split into two parts, one was that the iPhone was on "Low Bandwidth Mode" and so it couldn't use the codec required by the conference and the second was a different Codec set for some phones (to use less bandwidth). After consolidating all this and disable "Low Bandwidth Mode" it worked fine :)

If this is happening for all calls you can check the configuration on the endpoints / trunks involved in the call and ensure that proper CFB resources are allocated in the MRGL. If that is checked or if the issue is intermittent you can recreate the issue and post the detailed ccm traces for the same to check what is going wrong when the third party is added to the call.
