If we're on 10.5 and need to add an additional 10 licenses do we have any options other than upgrading to 12.5? The current llicenses have SWSS but since the perpetual licenses aren't being sold any longer what are the options for users who aren't able to make the jump to 12.5 at the moment?

10.5 is end of life. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/eos-eol-notice-c51-741767.html
You don't have any options except to upgrade if you need more licenses.

Since you have SWSS for existing 10.5 you can bring it to 12.5. Make sure that your SWSS cover all your existing license.
Addition 10 you need to go with subscription license and choose the version 12.5.
You need A-Flex-3 License. Named User, based on the usage choose professional or Enhanced, or Access.
For A-flex-3 data sheet refer below link.

Thanks for rhe response. I'd still need to upgrade to 12.5 and then the additional subscription license correct?

Yes, that is correct. You do get 90 days when you go over on your licensing, but don't cut that too close. You will be in a bad situation if you get to where you are locked out from making changes.

Yes that’s correct.
since 10.5 crossed EOS. That’s the only option for you.
