CUCM 7.0.1: SNMP Master Agent Service not responding

Hi Guys,

I am trying to enable SNMP Master Agent Service and it does not want to turn on on the CUCM.  I have the string information configured but it doesn't seem to work or make a difference in enabling the service.

This is an older CM but the focus is on dev testing.

Left field thought, but is your dev CUCM running under VMware? I've seen this issue with older versions of CUCM (6.x and 7.x) running under VMware.

Yes. Your absolutely correct.   It is running on VMware.... How were you able to get around it?

The only way was to upgrade to version 7.1(5).

Note that you probably won't be able to upgrade your 7.0 machine under VMware. The upgrade will fail.

CUCM isn't formally supported under VMware until 8.x.
