We would like to delete the un-used files, such as Firmware files, on the TFTP server to help with the daily back up and storage space. Would there be any reason not to delete firmware files that support desk phones we no longer have in service? Could we use this file to base our deletion of firmware files to delete?

It's recommended to delete unwanted files from the TFTP. If you have phone firmware for unused phone models in your TFTP, you can clear them out.

Thank you for the update, but to clarity, you are saying, verify what Firmware versions you need for the hardware you have, i.e. phones, VG's, etc, and then you can delete all other TFTP files you don't need?
