CUCME Web GUI

Hope I can get some help on this. None of the searches on the issue I'm having has provided any useful info.

I am operationally managing a newly installed CUCME 11.5 installation.

The configuration and installation was outsourced and is an upgrade from a previous CME 3.1 installation.

The mandate was to do a 1:1 update from CME 3.1 to CUCME 11.5, adding on the config needed for the SIP phones.

Phones and everything works well, but not the Web GUI, and I can't see what is wrong. As far as I can see, all the config needed is in place as well as all the webgui files.

I get the authentication prompt when accessing the URL but after sign all the web page displays is "view window"

The following are the details of the installation:

CUCME version: 11.5

Router hardware: ISR4331

IOS version: Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 16.03.06

Config details:

ip http server
ip http authentication local
no ip http secure-server
ip http path flash:

web admin system name myadmin secret 5 12345678
web admin customer name cust password 12345678
dn-webedit
time-webedit

SIP Phones are not supported with CME Web GUI. So what you see is expected.

Thanks, do you know if there is a replacement for the WEB GUI for managing SIP phones?

The CLI is OK for IT professionals but on this particular site WEB GUI provided the customer with way of changing the display names on the extensions. They won't be happy that they will have to raise a ticket, with an associated charge, for routine and trivial changes.

Currently there is nothing web based to manage this AFAIK.
