I would like to know if there is a way to transfer an incoming call directly to vm. I have setup *123 (123 being extension) to go directly to vm on the phycial phone but there does not seem to be a way to complete this same action from the CUPC client. Is there a way?

Hi,
There is a button for sending calls to Voicemail. If the option is greyed out, please refer to:

Hi,
Have you configure CUPS > Application > Cisco Unified Personal Communicator > Unity Server and Unity Profile?
Have you assigned the users to profile?
Also the voicemail pilot number needs to be synchronized to CUPS, it should show up in CUPS.
Is this softphone or desktop mode?
Regards,
Tere.

Hi Donald,
You would need to configure the following,
In CUPS :
1. Voice mail server and VM profile under CUPS admin - Application - CUPC
2. Associate the VM profile to the user under - CUPS admin - Application - CUPC - user settings
In CUCM,
1. Check the VM profile for the user extension
