Delete all Voicemails in mailbox - unity connection 7.0

We have mailboxes that have a large amount of messages and we just want to delete all messages but not the mailbox, what is the quickest way? Thanks

Create an IMAP connection using something like Outlook and delete the messages that way.

It's either that or deleting the mailbox and recreating it.

You could create a message aging policy but not sure how effective that would be for what you're trying to do:

Thanks WSonnylal! The Bulk user delete tool is the way to go. It worked wonderfully. I wanted to revive the thread in case someone else needs an answer to this. The http://www.ciscounitytools.com/ website is a great supplement to the shortcomings of Unity Connection. The Bulk user delete tool has other options besides deleting users. You can also reset all user PIN's/web password, delete greetings, set mailbox for enrollment amongst others.

Use the following CiscoUnityTool to quickly delete voicemails from a mailbox.  The tool is called "Bulk User Delete" it can be used to delete users but you can run it to just purge messages from a mailbox as well.  Here's the link to the tool.  It only works with Unity Connection 7.x btw.

Hey Jason,

Message aging policy works.

I created a new message aging policy and applied it to the user's mailbox.

Need to wait for 10 minutes . Then all the messages would be deleted...

Can you please let me know how you set "Message Aging Policy" to delete all messages in 10 minutes. I've tried it and it doesn't let me enter "Move messages to deleted folder to 0 days"

Please advise because I have 1000 messages in one mailbox and I cant delete it.

I had to delete messages from mail box. It worked for me as well.

Just FYI this tool still works well with Windows 10 and Unity 11.5.1
