Deleted Message Recovery

Cisco Unity V 4.0(3) without e-mail interface.

Voicemail subscribers want to be able to "undelete" messages if they accidentally press the delete key, but haven't disconnected from the system. Is there any way to do this?

You should ensure that users are have the proper COS to move deleted messages to deleted items folder. Since this is a VMO system you will have to get into the users exchange mailbox and move the message out of the deleted items folder. You could either do it in outlook or web access. Once the message is moved the user will have access to it through the TUI.

4.0.4 allows users to restore messages via TUI.

You also need to go into exchage mailstore properties and configure keep deleted items for days value to something other then non-zero. 0 is default. According to exchange, if this is 0 messages will be deleted right away from deleted items.
