No it cannot be installed on AWS. No cloud data centre services is supported, only on-prem ESXi.

The only option to run CM, or any other Cisco UC system, in the cloud is Webex Dedicated Instance as that is essentially CM in a Cisco cloud DC. No other cloud DC offerings are an option.

Hi there,
As @Roger Kallberg mentioned, unfortunately, Cisco Call Manager cannot be deployed in any of the public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) as of today. You must use the Webex multi-tenant or dedicated instance calling solution from Cisco if you want to have your Cisco calling solution in the cloud. The Webex multi-tenant is essentially a BroadSoft/Broudcloud (if I am correct) running in the cloud, and the dedicated instance is Cisco UC (Call Manager, Unity Connection, IM&P, Expressways) running on a Cisco-hosted cloud solution. The following links provide more details on it

Cisco Preferred Architecture for Webex Calling

The answer is no, as others have already explained. CUCM is only compatible with VMware on Business Edition servers or third party servers that meet Cisco’s recommended specs.
You can choose between two alternatives if you want to use cloud: Webex calling or Webex calling dedicated instance with your CUCM.
