Difference between JTAPI and XMPP

Hi,

I am trying to store call events of CUCM. I have got two options JTAPI for java and sleekxmpp for python. I am not sure if these two are the same or different. Can someone help me understand the difference between these two?

And if these two are same, which one should I use to capture call events.

Thanks.

They are absolutely two different things, that has nothing to do with each other. XMPP is an instant messaging protocol and JTAPI is a protocol for controlling a device.
