Hi,
I want to install CUCM and UCCX for my lab. I was wondering how can I download the software without getting an error about my profile.
Also about the demo license, is it time-based or I can always use it but with minimum users and features?
Bests,
Ehsan

First thing, to download software from Cisco portal your Cisco ID should have required privilege . if not you won be able to download software.
For Bootable images, you have to download it from MCE portal. But again its possible if you have any order.
CUCM give you 90 days grace period and you can run full features for 90 days without any license. For UCCX some one will reply..

For CUCM you get a 90-day demo license, but the timer starts when you build the first endpoint. (Rather than at installation)
For CUC, you also get 90 days, but the timer starts when you create the first voicemail box.
For UCCX, you also get 90 days, but I am not 100 sure when the timer starts. It may be, like the other applications, when you create something like a queue or an agent. But it may also be from installation.
Also, the timer is continuous use. So if I build a system and do preconfig (like build phones and users and such) and have it up and running for a week - when I do a shut/snap and boot again the timer starts from that 1-week mark. So I can do a bunch of stuff and then return to the snap with the preconfig and have another 90 days less the 1 week, and I can do that over and over again.
These are the rules for 12.x. The rules are a bit different for 11.x and earlier.
