DRS Issue with Unity Connection

Hello all,

We're having issues with the DRS backup of a Cisco Unity Server, version 12.0.1.21900-10.

It is a standalone server.

When the CUC feature is selected, I receive the following error:

Failed to initiate backup. Server [CUC01], component [CLM] requires component [PLATFORM] to be registered.

If I don't select the CUC feature, the backup runs normally.

I restarted DRF Master and Local Agents, but it still didn't work.

Then I went to CLI and ran the command utils disaster_recovery show_registration and can't find PLATFORM registered, CLM is registered normally.

What could be the reason to the PLATFORM component missing?

Could you please share any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi,

Go to CUC OS Asmin page and recreate IPSec certificate then restart DRF Master  and Local, Hope it will resolve your issue.

Hello, Sadav.

I regenerated the IPSec certificate and restarted Master first and then Local. The certificate had an expiry date of 2025, now it has 2026. Unfortunately the issue is still happening.

I don't know why the PLATFORM component is not showing up.
