I am doing my first native SIP installation of CME version 10.0 and am attempting to enable web access to the phones. I have entered "service https" command under "voice register global", I have then attempted to bring up a phone by it's IP address. Even though I can ping the phone I get no response from the browser.
Any help would be appreciated.

"service https" allows phone to access HTTPS services like local-directory lookup, My Phone Apps, and Extension Mobility.
Please try the following:
telephony-service
service phone webAccess 0
voice register global
create profiles
apply-config

Thanks Shadi,
I have all the apps working, what I am wanting to do is access the end user web page for each phone so that the end user can add fast dials, speed dials, change their own passwords etc, just like it was possible to do in the SCCP version.
