Example Administrator acct(s) in Active Diretory?

My customer has one unity 4.0.4 integrated into their active directory and exchange 2003. They also have another unity server that is not part of their AD or exchange environment, but wants to rebuild it to integrate into their AD and exchange similarly. My question is, for multiple unity servers within the same AD and exchange environment, what is the best approach for handling the example administrator account? Do all unity servers use the same account or do we need to create a separate example administrator account respective to their containers/locations? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Each Unity install creates it's own Example Administrator account as well as All Subscribers, SystemEvents and UnaddressedMessages public distribution lists. Each one has a UID that include a unique SystemId associated with the Unity server they are created with.

You can remove the Example Administrator account post install if you like, you just have to replace references to it in the database - there's white papers for this if you want to go that route. But there's nothing special you need to do here to avoid conflicts, the Unity setup takes care of it.

Also, a lot of our customers have found it convenient to rename the Example Administrator accounts to something like Unity Administrator or System Administrator, hide it in the GAL, and leave them in place.
