Expansion module 8800 on cisco IP phone 8851 with BLF

Hello all,

 

I need you help .

 

My customer ask me if that possible to configure button BLF on expansion module 8800 installed on IP phone 8851 , for monitoring lines of ip phones cisco and Sip third party device , is that possible?

 

Could you please help me ?

It possible to make those buttons on expansion module  BLF speed dials.

Yes, it's possible to use BLF's on an expansion module. You need to create
a phone button template (Device>Device Settings>Phone Button Template) that
is configured for the BLF's in the positions you need them. I created
templates with the Line buttons for the main phone (say 4 lines, and 2
speed dials), then made all of the expansion module buttons be BLF's.
Works great.

Try to write the phone number only in the Destination, not in the DN (Add a new BLF SD). In Device Settings - Protocol Specific Information must be set BLF Presence Group*. In Line Settings (Directory Number Configuration) also must set BLF Presence Group
