Hi Pals,
I am trying to form a cluster of 1, of an expressway following the this guide.
The problem is that, when I enable the cluster if 1, expressway ask you for a restart and after the restart, it is factory resetted. Then it stays in there,
no matter much much times I restart it.
Warning: Next restart will trigger a factory reset.
Warning: Next restart will trigger a factory reset.
Warning: Next restart will trigger a factory reset.

Warning: Next restart will trigger a factory reset.
Keep it forever!
What I have tried, was to delete the VM, set it again (according to the clustering guide), then I enable the cluster of 1, it asks for restart and it is the same story over.
Why it is giving me that error when I try to form a cluster of 1? (btw, this is a prerequisite to form the rest of the cluster by adding a peer).
Juan
Could you please help me in this?
Thank you
Juan.

shutdown or restart your VM from Vcenter and your system does a reset and boots from scratch.

I believe there is a some command you can perform in cli to do a factory reset (that has additional options). could try that instead.
I also vaguely remember someone mentioning that it's normal behavior for unclustered systems to do that. Your system thinks its unclustered maybe. Might try making sure you have all the prereqs and basic info entered - the right host name entered, DNS and certs are correct. Just shootin from the hip mind you.
