Seems there is a potential limitation specific to fedramp that limits call forwarding on a device with multiple extensions to only allow line 1 to call forward? I'm not familiar with commercial enough to know if this is or isn't a functionality that ...
I've been trying to approach a solution to keep buttons exactly the way they are on previous UC configuration.Too bad there isn't a bulk method to do this (that I'm aware of), so here I am.I have a lot of the identity stuff figured out with Webex Cal...
Here and there, i see posts on the interwebs that invite crusaders for IPV6, and I don't think the position typically held during said conversations holds a mature enough perspective. I'm hoping i can get some views here with Cisco engineers and see ...
So we’ve been getting conflicting answers between Cisco and contractors about our deployment. The last recommendation we got from Cisco is that we need to keep our PSTN and Webex calling on separate routers. So, this means if we want completely redun...
I'd like to setup some automated tests based on time increments or set times. Is there a way to do this without an outside stimulus? I guess i could setup an http request from another monitoring system - worst case.
Someone from Cisco mentioned *72<Destination># as a solution, which worked. Still doesn't reflect the active fwd number in the app for the given line though. Device phone with the line will show it though.
So, if you're going to go with a local network IPV6 scheme, then why worry about IPV6 at all? Invariably it means that said traffic for users would get NAT'ed anyway when going offnet. I suppose its still forward thinking to build out IPV6 regardless...

Hopefully i can redirect to a more edifying route here between us. So, in my opinion, exhaustion (alone) isn't a big enough motivator. Like you said, companies don't need to embrace IPV6 so much, or at least the pressure is less. However, in some of ...
Thank you Johnathan, you're awesome. To clarify, if you don't mind, calls that are Webex Calling LGW dial peers <-SIP-> CUCM dial peers (split dial plan) could hypothetically hang, thus call preservation wouldn't work on this particular traffic segmen...
