Hi Everyone
I have some sites that I'm removing the CUCM boxes from and I'm going to have the site connect across the WAN for phone registration.I'm tring to create new route patterns so that they all use our CUCM box in the data center once we shut the old ones down. When I go to create it I dont' have an option to use HNBCUM02 which is our SUB in the gateway/route list drop down. All I see are the CUCM boxes like NYCCM01 and so one, and these are going away.

The name says it all, you can only use GWs and route lists in that field, and they need to be configured prior to configuring the RP, not sure what you're doing trying to configure a CUCM SUB there???

Hi,
You don't have an option to use HNBCUM02 as this might not be specified on Route Group-->Route List.
And as per the attachment you are trying to configure Route Patterns for which the approach should be Top to Bottom as in CUCM Application i.e 1) Route Groups---->2) Route List--->3) Route Pattern.
If you want to connect site across WAN use H323 ICT trunks between clusters.
Refer below link for more detail.

Thanks for getting back with me Jamie, but I spoke to a TAC engineer in the Richardson campus and he told me not to worry about any of that because once the phones register I won't need those route patterns anymore.
