Hello,
Using Cisco RTMT, I get at least one error a week for either SmartLicenseCommunicationError or SmartLicenceRenewAuthFailed (or both). Every time I check after seeing these errors, I see that the license registration status is REGISTERED and the Authorization status is AUTHORIZED. Never have any issues pinging to Cisco's licensing servers. Can't find anything wrong at all, really.
Is this a bug of some sort? Would like to get rid of these false positives.
Thanks,
Joel

Interesting. I'd pull the trace for the Cisco Smart License Manager service and see what it's doing when it's failing.

How do you deployed your SSM, is it a direct cloud, proxy or an on prem ?

We're reaching out to SSM directly. No proxy/on prem.

Since you CUCM is registered and Authorised, I would suggest to ignore it.

There were some bugs that required you to re-register as the app would think you’re using a proxy and would fail.
Otherwise it does occasionally glitch out and complain but every time I’ve had this happen, in the SLM logs you can see it’s as Cisco’s services have provided an empty response as though they are having issues .
Mind the expiration dates or alarms but it is likely cosmetic if it is just sporadic
