How to bypass Permissions Wizard on Unity 5.0 install

Hi, guys.

I have a customer that does not allow me to run the Permissions Wizard to set up Unity 5.0 into their AD infrastructure. They want to set up the permissions manually.

I am ok with that, but the Unity setup REQUIRES me to run the PW to set the security.

How can I bypass the check for the PW on the CUICA, to proceed with the rest of the setup?

If there are problems with permissions, I´ll handle them later, after the base software is installed.

Hello,

I  believe that you can run permission wizard from command line and add in a switch:

   permissionwizard.exe /localonly


To my knowledge this will bypass setting permissions in the AD.


However the TAC supported method is to run without any switches.
