How do you disable a mailbox in cisco Unity connection administration 8.6.2.2?

The cisco documents that I googled up with are outdated.

ex.  I just want to disable an individual mailbox so that no new messages can be left for the individual and the individual can not retrieve the existing messages.  All this, while preserving the existing messages.

You can go to the Greeting --> Standard Greeting and either Disable it or change the after greeting action to hang up.
