I was hoping to get some help with this. My boss and I are admittedly completely out of our depth with this Cisco phone cluster. Yesterday our CUCX sub virtual machine powered down for unknown reasons. After I got it back up, I have this inconsistency between the cucx-pub and cucx-sub in the cluster management section of the Unity Connection Serviceability.

You can see the cluster management on the sub is showing a split-brain recovery for the cucx-pub, and is showing the sub as deactivated. My instinct is that the sub just needs to be activated, but even after trying to decipher some documentation I'm not sure I have any idea what being "activated" actually is or what it affects, and we're both nervous to pull the trigger on anything, as we are not familiar with what the configuration looked like previously. If I need to provide any more information please let me know!

Absolutely recommend you to reach out to TAC to get help on this. It is nothing that you should try if you don’t have the experience or knowledge for it.

Hey Roger, unfortunately we're working with an old, unsupported system here, so from my understanding I wouldn't be able to get any assistance from TAC.

Then the second best thing would be to reach out to a reputable Cisco partner with a Unified Communication specialisation to procure their help on this.
