Hi.
I am needing to migrate 4 VMs, two expressway-C Ver 8.8 and two CMS ver 2.4.1. They suggested that the best way would be to export and import with the ESXI. It is right? Does anyone have any documentation of this task?
thanks

Backup restore will be the best option.Go through admin guide's.

What do you mean by “migrate”? Do you want to move your VMs to another host? If so all you have to do is use vmotion to move the VM over. It can depending on the system running on the VM be done while running or in shutdown state. If that would not be an option you can take the actual file for the VM and copy it to wherever you need it be.
If this is not what you have in mind please provide a little more details on your intent.

Exactly, the customer has two C expressway installed in a UCS BE7000 and two CMS, these must be moved to a new infrastructure. I mean, it would only be moving the VMs, but I wanted to know if something else had to be taken into account. For example the issue of licensing and others.

AFAIK there is no other dependency, apart from the obvious that the host you move to must have access to any network needed as per what is assigned to the VMs.
