Does anyone know of a tool or a way to allow multiple levels of administration in Unity (particularily read only)? Similar to MLA in CCM.
Thanks, Glenn

Hi -
The Unity Class of Service is used to delegate specific areas of System Access to groups of Unity subscribers. The process to do this is:
1. Create the class of service with the areas you'd want people to administer in Unity (for example, change user passwords). We do this for our Help Desk.
2. Create a subscriber template that uses that COS.
3. Import/create users with that template.
When the users now go to http://unityservername/web/sa, they will see the areas of the webpage to which they have been given access.

Ginger,
Thanks for the response. What if I want to give someone read only access to everything? Can I do that?
Thanks, Glenn

Hi Glen -
There are limited Read only areas you can enable within the Unity SA - Class of service, Directory handlers, Subscribers, and Public distribution lists. This might work for your needs. Other items checked within the System Access section of the Class of service web page would still allow them to make changes. You can read the Help for this page to see what priviledges are granted by checking each box.
