Hello -
My customer environment is Cisco Unity 3.1.5, Ex2k , Unified Messaging (200 Users 12 sessions) and use McAfee NetShield 4.5
Since NetShield for NT4.5(EOL:End of Life,http://www.networkassociates.com/us/products/mcafee/end_of_life.htm#netshield) was replaced by VirusScan Enterprise 7.X, my customer plan to replace NetShield with the latest version of VirusScan Enterprise 7.X.
My question is
1.For Unity 3.X, why VirusScan 7.X is not "qualified" by Cisco?
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_unity/sysreq/40_sysrq.htm#wp32330
Is there any potential impact on Unity?
If we have problems and TAC suspect VirusScan's interfering somewhere with a problem we report they'll ask us to uninstall VirsuScan. It would be a hard decision for us to uninstall VirsuScan and ending up with no antivirus software in their's Unity3.X
2.What are the choices that we have since we can not install CSA on Unity3.X.
Any suggestion would be helpful?

"The following virus-scanning software has been qualified by Cisco for use with Cisco Unity:
McAfee NetShield for Microsoft Windows NT and Windows 2000, version 4.5 AND LATER. "

When it says "McAfee NetShield for Microsoft Windows NT and Windows 2000, version 4.5 and later.", I don't know if it includes McAfee Enterprise 7.0 or not. Has anyone tried with this?
