I'm new to Cisco modeling lab. I want to add Cisco cucm but I can't. I tried converting the iso file to qcow2 but it gives me not boot file. Can you help me with this or provide me with a template?

Hello everyone,

cucm is not supported by CML. Thanks for your input. The list of equipment supported on cml is defined here https://developer.cisco.com/docs/modeling-labs/2-8/vm-images-for-cml-labs/#vm-images-for-cml-labs. The list of nodes added by the CML community is also available here https://github.com/CiscoDevNet/cml-community/tree/master

I’ve never used CML, so not sure if it can support CM or other CVOS systems. But what ISO is it that you’re trying to use? Do you have the bootable ISO or the standard one that you can download from software.cisco.com?

Don't add Cisco cucm to CML; Use Cisco cucm as sepearte independent of CML virtual machine - best if runing on different PC.

Run the CUCM on a separate VM and avoid using it on the CML. You can run the CUCM on EVE-NG, though I’ve never tried running it on the CML myself.

However, the best option, as I agree with @Martin L , is to run it as a separate VM.
