trunk between two different CUCM (10.5 and 11.5)

Hi Everyone,

can anyone help to find a solution to create a trunk between two different version of cucm 

Site A : CUCM 10.5

Site B : CUCM 11.5

can we do inter cluster between two site...

please help if anyone one have documents please forward me on Vinney.h.koul@gsk.com

Yes you can. Use either H.323 ICT or SIP trunk. Recommended is SIP since H.323 is basically a dying protocol. You can google up or search CSC and should find numerous posts.

Hello Vinney,

As Nipun mentioned, we highly recommend to use the SIP protocol to configure trunks, since H.323 is not longer receiving any new features or development.

Referring to the CUCM SRND:

"While H.323 trunks are still supported, SIP trunks are the recommended trunk type for Unified Communication deployments because SIP trunks provide additional features and functionality not available with H.323 trunks."

I recommend you to check the following SRND and the System Configuration guide for more details (taken out of CUCM version 11):
