Hi Everyone
I wanted to know has anyone ever seen this issue before with Unity Connection. I have a site that the users are using unity connection they are logging into the phones through mobility but everytime they push the messages button on the phone to listen to VM they get prompted for ID and PIN instead of just the PIN. I have never seen this before and I don't know what would cause this to happen. The current software they are running is CUC 8.6.2 and I want to say thank you in advance and have a great day.

This most commonly occures when the Primary or Alternate Extension on the mailbox does not match the Calling Number as it is received on CXN. You can see this using RTMT with the Port Monitor function. Possible causes include a Voicemail Profile Mask, a DN that differs from teh values CXN has, or a Transformation Pattern on the SIP trunk.

+5 to Jonathan. You can also telnet to CXN port 5000 to access the port monitor output which some might prefer to rtmt.
