Trying to figure this out in my own mind.
Are these the basic scenarios with a centralized CM?
1. Central folks use Unity
define CTI and all that stuff to have remote users use CUE
the unity platforms are separate
2. Run VPIM and mesh all of the Unity's together.
Everyone calls by name or enters location codes
What is the implication on licensing on Unity Express?
Lot of questions Thx

With centralized call processing, you can have either centralized or distributed voicemail. With centralized voicemail, you're usually looking at a Unity system at the central site. With distributed, you've usually got Unity(s) at the main site(s), with SRST at the branches and CUE modules in those same routers. Then you can network voicemail together via VPIM. Keep in mind that this does not have a shared directory (between CUE and Unity). The CUE modules are able to cache some names of remote users, but you can't do name lookup if you use the CUE auto attendant at each remote site.
