I have a question about the documentation for Unity 4.0 Lotus/Domino integration.
One of the requirements I read prior to installing Unity was that the Unity server be placed in the same AD domain as the Domino server.
The issue I have is that the customers Domino server is not in a domain currently, but is a stand alone server?
The Notes admin say that this is the suggested integration model for Domaino and does not want to add it to the domain.
The other potential issue I am interested in is the distribution of the Unity server and the Domaino server.
I want to have the Unity server in the datacenter, but the Domino server in another facility.
So my qeustions are as follows:
1.) Can we install the Unity server in the customers domain and point Notes to the Domino server not in the Domain?
2.) What about AD integration or lack of it? (customers network is still NT 4.0 and Novel.)
3.) Can this be a stand anlone server as well as the Domino box?
4.) Are there any issues with having Unity in one site and Domino in another?
I guess I am interested to see if anyone has tried this and what are the potential pitfalls?
