We have configured voice mall for all users. So if they not answer the call, the call will forward to voice mail. Some users they don’t want this. Is it possible to adding a soft key in the phone for disabling voicemail my users when they don’t want forward the call to voice mail?
We are using CUCM 7.02 Unity connection7 and 7945 phones
Thanks for any clues

Hi
Not really - you can't add custom softkeys (though you can pick from a selection of softkeys and reorder them).
You could theoretically create an XML service to do this and have it accessible from Services or a Line Button.
The only standard way a user can do this is via the CCMUser pages.

Hi Bawanraj,
Just to add another thought here to the excellent ideas from Aaron (+5 "A")
Why don't you just use a reverse setup, instaed of having the users in
question "turn-off" their VM give them the ability to "turn-on" their VM
Take off all the Call Forward No Answer and Call Forward Busy settings
from these user phones and let them control whether or not their calls go
to VM by using the CFWDALL Softkey. Same desired result I would think.
Cheers!

Rob's idea is not meant to modify any of the call forward behaviors, Aaron already covered that.
What Rob suggests, is that you let users decide when they want to forward calls to VM, by simply using CFA to VM. That's the only one that users can change from the phone natively. Any other call forward you want to change directly from the phone means you need to create a custom service as Aaron explained.
