Using TAPS to build multiple phones with the same extension

I need to set up about 30 phones with the same display name and extension.
Users for that area use Extension Mobility so they can move around.
I want the phones to be generic with the same extension on all of them

I've used TAPS once and as I recall it wouldn't add phones that had the same extension.
TAPS worked for the other phones that didn't have the same display name and extension.

I suspect TAPS doesn't mind the display name being the same, but has an issue with the duplicate extension
Is there a way to get TAPS to allow multiple phones with the same display name and extension?

No, TAPS doesn’t work that way. What you need to do is static configuration of a number of devices and that can be done by bulk configuration.
